Component Scaffold Module

The component-scaffold module is the primary orchestration entry point for provisioning GCP projects, GCS state buckets, IAM baselines, and GitHub repositories for platform components.

Core Capabilities​

  • Project Lifecycle: Provisions isolated GCP projects per environment (common, development, staging, production).
  • Repository Provisioning: Integrates with github-repository-factory to generate GitHub repositories with pre-configured environments, variables, and Workload Identity Federation (WIF).
  • Shared Service Hooks: Integrates with shared platform services including Apigee, KMS CMEK encryption, and Secret Manager.
