The empty template provides a minimal blank canvas for scaffolding a custom component, service, agent, or sandbox from scratch.

Structure

Contains base configuration files and environment directories:

• config_component.tfvars: Component-level settings and metadata.
• envs/common/: Common cross-environment configuration and repository declarations.
• envs/development/: Development environment project and infrastructure definitions.
• envs/staging/: Staging environment project definitions.
• envs/production/: Production environment project definitions.

Provisioning Instructions

1. Copy the desired template folder to components/<component_type>/<component_name>/.
2. Configure config_component.tfvars with the component name, code, team access and other required inputs.
3. Submit a pull request to uk-dvt-gcloud-core-projects for automated plan and apply.
